If Churchill had been an Enterprise Architect…

If Churchill had been an Enterprise Architect then maybe the speech below had been a reality…

The problems raged on. The Architect told the leaders, “I have, myself, full confidence that if we all do our duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our company, to ride out the storm of disorder, and to outlive the menace of complexity, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. At any rate, we are going to try. That is the resolve of the architecture council — every man of them. That is the will of the architects and the architecture program. The Architects and Management, linked together in their cause, and in their need, will defend to the end their idea of an architecture “¦ We shall go on to the end, we shall work on the SYSTEM, we shall work on the ambitions and capabilities, we shall work with growing strength on the processes, we shall defend our information, whatever the cost may be, we shall work on the small, we shall work on the large, we shall work on the simple and on the hard, we shall work on the architecture, we shall never surrender.”
